If you’re reading this, congratulations! we’ve made it through 2023! The holidays are finally here!
My holiday decor flips between something quirky and something more sophisticated. For this year, I was feeling something warm and happy. From the beginning of the year, I mentioned that yellow was one of the colors I’ve been feeling lately. Something about it feels nostalgic yet fresh and optimistic, which is an excellent way to lead into the new year.
I found a small 4-foot white tree at FiveBelow (for $5!) and gave it a couple of coats of yellow, and we were good to go.
I usually partake in an “ornament adventure,” but I wasn’t feeling like making anything this year. With over 15 years of doing holiday projects with this little blog, I’ve accumulated quite a collection of ornaments! I decided to go through what I had and curate something fun.
I used warm tones of orange, yellows, purple, pinks, gold, and some iridescent balls to add sparkle.
