Last year, I randomly noticed there was a collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Pac Sun, (aka Pacific Sunwear). It seemed sort of random, but I was intrigued. I also just assumed it was like a one-off type thing, but apparently not. Fast forward a year and “The Met x Pac Sun” collaboration have released their 4th collection for Fall 2023.
The collection includes a full range of pieces for men and women. The category I think they’ve been the most successful is with their graphic t-shirts.
I can only imagine the amount of fun the designers could have with such an extensive archive of images to use. So far really love the fresh takes and seeing these artworks interpreted in new ways.
I also love that they are introducing a new generation to the classical art world. Museums are to be cherished and enjoyed and hopefully collaborations like these will foster more support.
