It’s a bit crazy that March is ending and Easter is this weekend?! A bunch of commotion has been going on behind the scenes in happymundaneland. Last weekend I had a blast goofing around with two of the most effortlessly stylish folks I know, Suzanne Wu of I’mRevolting, and Dabito of Old Brand New. The two of them came down to visit me in OC and we spent the afternoon exploring the “California Scenario” sculpture park by Isamu Noguchi. It’s totally a local (very) hidden gem, but such a visual treat.

West Elm international bloggers series April 2013 feat. Happymundane.com

I’m so excited to be a part of West Elm’s International Blogger series hosted by Holly Becker of Decor8. Each month they feature a blogger from a different part of the world and for April, you get a little California lovin’ from lil ol’ me! Check out the April catalog for the brand new Summer collection that is hitting stores, and check out this link here for a conversation I had with Holly regarding the tricky topic of mixing prints! Big thanks to West Elm and Holly for having me!

elderflower syrup, club soda, lime via happymundane.com

Finally, my latest obsession has been Elderflower syrup. I was first introduced to it from my favorite little bistro in Solana Beach, Lockwood Table. They mixed it into a “Bubbly” drink, and I’m now making my own version at home with a little club soda and twist of lime. I hear it also goes well with so many other drink concoctions. Have you had elderflower syrup in a drink?
