Hope everyone in the States had a Happy 4th of July! This weekend was a little strange for me- all sorts of running around and weird happenings. In between the crazy I did have a few lovely mundane moments I captured for you below: A brief second of bird of paradise beauty while waiting in line at the drive through at Starbucks, a pretty display at the newly opened Anthropologie store at South Coast Plaza, totally stopping to appreciate a cool architectural view of the IKEA store in Costa Mesa, and finally, I tried out one of these recipes I pinned recently- A cherry “bruschetta”– simply top toasted baguettes with honey nut cream cheese (Philadelphia brand cream cheese has this new flavor) and then add sliced fresh cherries, drizzle with honey… uh.maz.ing.
