Love the retro feel and randomness of the objects that are printed on this leather banker’s envelope from Jack Spade. Actually, love the concept of a banker’s envelope in general- fun alternative to the typical briefcase/tote/messenger bag. more info here.

happy friday! woo hoo! Somehow this week turned into one of those weeks that just never wanted to end. But it’s finally here! All I can think about these days is warm breezes, ocean waves, and for next week to hurry up and get here (holiday!) So… in the meantime, I think I need to hang out with the gorgeous Sophie Ellis-Bextor here below, just lounging out by my incredible private pool, or while looking glamorous on a yacht with the wind in my hair (or laying on what looks to be a very uncomfortable set of stairs, but still looking AMAZING). The November 2010 issue of UK Elle Decoration has this great article about the Amsterdam studio, Scholten & Baijings. The neon bright colors instantly attracted me. Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving already?! I have to be honest, I’m really looking forward to this festive season and I want to get started earlier this year. Seems like the past few years I’ve waited until last minute to get going. This year I’m hoping to get my decorations up earlier, shopping done sooner and just be able to really enjoy the holidays more. The paper sculpture above was seen in the window of the Anthropologie store at Chelsea Market when I was there a few weeks ago. Cardboard cut into triangles and stapled? together. Totally giving me inspiration for this year’s decor… hm… When do you guys start putting up your decorations? Next week? Do you wait until closer to Christmas?
